Writing Workshops & Webinars
Live & Online
Wendy has been facilitating writing (and art) workshops for adults and children for nearly two decades in both Canada and the US and supports herself solely with her writing and writing-related activities. She has visited over 100 schools (K-12) through writers-in-the-schools programs and has appeared at various children’s literary and literacy events such as Peter Gzowski’s Invitational & Family Literacy Festival (Canada), National Read Across America Day (US), the Festival of Trees (Canada’s largest literary event for children) and the international literary festival, FryeFest (Canada’s largest bilingual literary event). Wendy has facilitated more than a hundred writing workshops including ones for the YMCA, the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators (SCBWI), the Professional Writers Association of Canada (PWAC), San Diego’s Writers Ink (SDWI), the San Diego Independent Business Professionals (SDIBP), and the prestigious Maritime Writers Workshop at the University of New Brunswick.
Wendy is also an Infinite Possibilities certified trainer based on Mike Dooley’s New York Times bestselling book Infinite Possibilities: The Art of Living Your Dreams. She is living her own dream of living and writing at the beach year-round since relocating to beautiful Mission Beach, California, from the East Coast of Canada in 2018.
